Description
The DeepSignVault dataset has been developed as a novel offline handwritten signature database to facilitate research in biometric verification, forgery detection, and writer identification. The dataset comprises a total of 2,000 signature images collected from 100 individuals across different regions of India, including Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Delhi. Each participant contributed 10 genuine and 10 forged signatures, ensuring balanced representation for training and testing purposes. The signatures were acquired on white sheets using black ink and subsequently scanned at a resolution of 300 dpi to preserve fine stroke details.
