Description
This dataset provides parametric data for interdigitated capacitor (IDC) radio-frequency biosensors, supporting joint optimization of sensor geometry and Vector Network Analyser (VNA) frequency requirements. The data was generated using Python-based theoretical modeling for FR4 substrate (thickness = 2mm and dielectric constant = 4.3). The dataset is provided in CSV format and includes IDC geometric parameters: finger length (l), finger width (w), finger thickness (t), finger gap (d), and number of fingers (n), along with upper and lower operating frequencies (f₁, f₂) and frequency tuning range (FTR). Data is reported for two dielectric environments relevant to breast cancer biosensing, selected to span the reported dielectric permittivity range of breast cancer cells (εᵣ ≈ 3–81), with εᵣ = 3.8 and εᵣ = 81 representing the lower and upper bounds. The dataset enables systematic analysis of the relationship between IDC dimensions, dielectric properties, and required VNA frequency range.
